If you look closely, you’ll see a subtle pattern of leaves on this box.  The leaves are made from green Van Gogh glass with green mirror glass used for their centers and edges.  The Van Gogh glass used has a beautiful depth and looks like it is textured, adding a richness to the design.

A neighbor asked me to make this tray for her.  We have many mature maple and oak trees in our neighborhood, so she chose those leaves.  The tiles creating the border match the accent tiles in her kitchen.

Lighthouse Breakfast Tray

I found a set of plates with lighthouses around the rim of the dinner plate and a lighthouse in the center of the salad plate.  I combined them to create a special place setting.  The silverware is made from silver mirror glass.
